What is Tia Chi?
Tai Chi combines slow flowing movements in specific forms. One aim of Tai Chi is to develop a calm and peaceful mind through these flowing movements. Through Tai Chi we can improve our balance, lower body strength, postural alignment, fine-scale motor control, while maintaining focus on our core, our center. The practice of Tai Chi can contribute to being able to better stand, walk, move, run, etc. in our daily life. Some benefits include correcting poor posture, reducing body tension, improving concentration and preventing injury. Furthermore the meditative nature of the exercises is calming and relaxing in and of itself.
